Three Chinese brush paintings of landscapes I made from the end of May to June. I’ve never really done any kind of landscape painting, let alone Chinese brush painting, so I’m pretty happy with how they turned out!

These past few weeks, I’ve been taking an intro to Chinese brush painting class. While I’m accustomed to Western-style watercolor, this medium is a whole new ballgame. Here are my first few finished paintings!
Week 1: Hellenium Daisy

Week 2: Black Swan

Week 3: Sunflower

Here are the watercolor paintings from the remainder of my watercolor class. I had a great time, but I still have a lot to learn.

First finished piece from a watercolor class I’m taking.

Uploaded a new YouTube video! Basically talking about what’s to come on the channel (and by extension this website and my Tumblr).
Wishing everyone a happy Easter! In light of this rabbit themed holiday, I thought it would be fun to draw a bunny character enjoying Easter egg hunting. 🙂

Colored pencil, pen, and watercolor on mixed media paper
Second piece from my watercolor class. Utilized a few different techniques: “drawing” with the paint instead of pencil and taking the reference photo less literally than the still life from my last piece. I really like how this turned out!
