Well, here we are, more than two months since my last figure drawing class in January, finally uploading a few of the drawings i made then. We experimented with several different mediums, but my favorite was definitely pen, so most of my better drawings are pen rather than charcoal or graphite/pencil.

January Sketches

Here are a couple sketches I’ve done outside of class; I’ve been taking a month-long figure drawing course. I will definitely upload some of that work when I finish!

Two generic felid characters. I was practicing chibi-like proportions on the left and open jaws on the right.

A Grace Jones-esque model type character. I tried to draw the same character from two different angles; I think the noses are a bit off, but she mostly looks the same.

Andromeda Sketches

A redesign of an old character. In the past I’ve had trouble drawing mustelids… and while it’s still a bit hard to tell she’s a stoat, I think with fur colors it will be much more obvious.
