I had a super fun time trying out diving while out in California. I had hoped to get a few more times in the pool than I did, but luckily I will be able to continue taking lessons either in Grinnell or Waukee.

Had a blast at my first Drag Con! Highlights were watching Trixie’s performance day 1 (and getting to meet her for like 5 seconds), meeting a local queen (Miss Gay USofA Newcomer Domita Sanchez), and not only meeting my first love Sharon Needles, but listening to her sing the B-Bop’s song when I told her I was from Des Moines! There were a few queens I wished I could have gotten to see and a few panels I missed waiting in line, but overall I can’t wait to go again.

Day 2 outfit: Bodyline blouse, Alice and the Pirates skirt, Dream Stockings socks, Taos shoes
